

Deric Carner
Virginia, USA (1975). Currently lives in San Francisco.
Carner is a ceaseless nomad and an obsessive pirate of all signs and symbols. He is graduate of the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam, NL; awarded an MA from Plymouth University, UK (2005); BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz (1998).
Past projects include performances at Witte de With, Rotterdam, the Netherlands; BMW, IX Baltic Triennial of International Art at CAC, Vilnius, Lithuania; Künstlerverein Malkasten Jacobihaus, Düsseldorf, Germany and TENT Centrum Beeldende Kunst, Rotterdam. His works on paper have been shown at Ping Pong Gallery, Intersection for the Arts, ATA, and Pond, San Francisco; 21 Grand, Oakland; Contemporary Art Center, North Adams; and Brooklyn Fireproof Gallery, NYC. His work has been published in several editions by Revolver Books, Frankfurt; and is included in Beyond Kiosk, recently on view at ICA, Philadelphia, Université de Rennes, and currently at Centre d'Art Contemporain, Geneve.
